Walt Norblad - Chief Technology Officer

Chief Technology Officer, Walt Norblad, enjoys Calculus. Seriously.

Walt graduated from the University of Oregon with degrees in Computer Information Science and Applied Mathematics with a minor in Physics. Walt met his wife Jennene at the UO, in what he calls "the most romantic of the math courses:" Partial Differential Equations. They recently welcomed baby Chloe into their lives and we're certain that she will be programming by kindergarten!

If you want to get technical, Walt's been programming since the first grade. Before he started doing it full-time though, Walt was a Submarine Sonar Tech, and his time in the Navy instilled in him a love of boating and fishing. Walt's learning to fly fish and spends as much time as he can on the beautiful Oregon rivers and lakes. He also enjoys cooking with his family, but admits that he likes to eat more than he likes to cook.

Walt has been programming professionally for over 10 years and has managed projects for companies with thousands of employees in multiple countries. He loves working with local clients as well so that he can share his love for math and science with them in person.
