Company History
In 1997, Mark Lipson was contacted to write code for a lunar locations project. He quickly gained respect and notoriety for his work and soon had a company aptly named, Lunar Logic Inc..
Shortly after, the newly formed company secured a contract with a large textbook publisher that was focused on getting their products online. This client became the heart of Lunar Logic's revenue. Over the course of the next decade the company grew to nearly 200 employees with offices in Eugene, Portland, and Poland.
Then in 2006, the primary client of Lunar Logic ended their contracts, and began diversifying their work between a variety of companies. Over the next several months, the company scaled back to a mere 30 employees.
In the fall of 2007, Todd Edman was brought on as a Senior Developer to help with company organization and to utilize his skill with the local business community in making sales.
In December of 2007, Lipson began negotiation with Todd Edman for sale of the business. Edman's refocused the company to offer local and regional businesses products, websites, and custom web solutions that businesses could both use and afford.
In August 2008, the sale of Lunar Logic was complete. Todd Edman is now the CEO and owner of the firm. The company is now Lunar Logic, LLC. Todd's vision has created company growth and has resulted in several start-up spin offs. The company continues its focus of helping locally owned organizations to succeed on the web.
